Dave Katra and Sue Katra have been involved in family estates, trusts, personal finances, conservatorships, elder care, and the mental health system for over 20 years.

Sue, a former Special Education teacher, has first-hand experience with special needs care issues, financial abuse, elder issues, conservatorship, the legal system, and mental health advocacy.  She wanted to use her extensive life experience to help people struggling with their Care Management, and to prevent elder abuse. 

Dave, a businessman and project manager, has extensive experience with financial management, real estate, investments, and in-home assistance for Elders.  He imagined putting his extensive skill sets and life experience to work full time, serving and helping people in need, particularly the elderly and dependent.

In 2006 we formed Trusted Solutions Los Gatos, and have been serving professionally as executors, conservators, trustees, special needs trustees, care managers, and mediators. 

EXPERIENCED 

Dave has served as Executor, Probate Administrator, Trustee, Conservator, Special Needs Trustee, Family Trust Mediator, and Elder advisor/helper.

His background and experience includes business, project management, finances, real estate, estate planning and management, investing, asset protection, and Elder Care.

Sue has served as Conservator, Geriatric Care Manager, Hospital and Care Home Advocate, Case Manager, Elder advisor/helper, and Special Needs Trustee. 

Her background and  experience includes 19 years as an Adapted PE Special Education Teacher for the physically disabled and multi-handicapped, fighting Elder Finacial Abuse, and working with mental illness.   

CAPABLE

Sue is co-founder of Kiwanis Special Games, and has won community service awards from Parents Helping Parents and SCC Kiwanis. She holds two Certificates in Professional Fiduciary Management from CSU Fullerton, a double-major Bachelors degree (PE and Psychology), a Masters degree in Adaptive PE, and a Kinesiotherapist Credential.   

Her education includes nursing (1yr), dealing with physical limitations,  elder care, elder abuse, advocacy, trusteeship, conservatorship, personal finance, and serving as a mentor to new Special Education teachers.

Dave has years of experience in business and financial management as a Silicon Valley hi-tech manager, and as a family estate manager.  He holds two Certificates in Professional Fiduciary Management from CSU Fullerton, and an engineering degree. 

His education includes management, business, financial planning, trusts, asset protection, taxes, investing, personal finances, real estate, and Probate.
